Founded by Roberto “Rush” Evans, Terence Greene, Datu Faison and FUBU Founder J. Alexander Martin, The For Us By Us Network was formed with a vision to develop quality content around topics, people and trends related to hip hop culture and lifestyle.

Rush, already a successful producer having worked at several major companies including the Love & Hip Hop franchise, Monami Ent, Saturday Night Live Broadway Video and more, sought to bring the same production value with positive story narratives to a digital audience. At the same time, Greene spent years in the sports world, negotiating deals with some of today’s star athletes, while Faison is a former music executive and manager of platinum selling artists. Martin, founded FUBU along with Daymond John, and had a passion for television which lead him to secure VOD deals with Verizon and Comcast.

The collective’s first release was the “King of South Beach”, starring rapper Akinalye as the owner of the first and only black owned strip club on Miami’s South Beach. Released as an 8-part digital series on, the show saw more than 90 million views and brought the group attention from some of the largest media companies.

The next release was “Charli Knows Best” starring rapper Charli Baltimore and her two daughers India and DJ Sianni through a partnership with I-One Digital/BOSSIP. The series went on to become BOSSIP’s top original digital series and landed Charli and DJ Sianni starring roles on WETV’s “Growing Up Hip Hop”.

Now, For Us By Us will be releasing an entire slate of culturally relevant programming including reality, scripted, documentaries and films through a full partnership with one of the largest digital hip hop platforms, With the rise of video streaming services, our collective goal is to become the top player in the space when it comes to digital storytelling around culturally relevant topics- For Us By Us.
